THE CHRISTMAS STOMP (1,519 words) introduces Bob and Roxanne, a Mutt-and-Pug duo whose carefree life with a groovy rock band on the beaches of Los Angeles is turned upside down when they relocate to a rambling old house on a river in New Jersey. As Christmas approaches, Roxanne fears she left her spirit behind in California—until a grand Christmas ball hosted by a Bear determined that no one spends the holiday alone reminds them that wherever they find love, they will find Christmas.

THE JERSEY BEAR STOMP (925 words) is an illustrated Halloween tale told with the rhythmic lilt of The Night Before Christmas. When two fairies set out to find the golden pumpkin that holds all of Halloween's magic, they meet a lonely bear searching for friends to dance with. Their joyful stomp leads them to the pumpkin, saves Halloween, and reminds the whole town that friendship is the truest magic of all.
